Is rafting safe?
The answer to this question is simple. There are inherit risks with any outdoor activity but with the right instruction and our professionally certified guides, you are in the best hands possible. The rivers can be very safe; as long as you are mentally alert and listening closely to your guide.

How many people do we need to book a trip?
Most of the time, just you! The season picks up quickly and there is usually availability in one of our rafts a day or two before hand. To ensure your spot, please book in advance.

When do our trips run?
Our trips run daily, but times may vary upon groups and availability. The first trip leaves our shop at 7:30am, and our last trip returns roughly at 11:00pm. Our rafting and summer activities start in May and finish usually the end of September.

What kinds of trips do we have?
We have trips for everyone. We offer hiking on beginner to advanced trails, driving tours for the whole family to enjoy, and our rafting trips ranging "From Mild to Wild" are suited for everyone.

What if its raining?
We run rain or shine. If you are hiking make sure to bring a rain coat. If you are rafting then you are wet already. We may cancel tours due to lightning risks or severe weather conditions for a full refund.

Where do we meet?
We start and finish all of our tours right at our shop, located at 610 Patricia Street in Jasper.

What time do we meet?
All of our trips leave at specific times. For our tours you must show up 15 minutes early and check-in with the front desk staff to get you started.

Is there a time difference between Alberta and BC?
Yes there is. British Columbia is one hour behind us, so please make sure you are on Alberta time…or you will miss your trip!!

Is there a place to keep medication on the rafts?
Yes, your guide will have options for medication transport.

Do we have to sign a waiver from?
Yes. To participate in any of our trips you must sign a waiver. It can be viewed below.

Is there a place to keep valuables?
No. Leave them in the car or hotel room. We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen goods.

Do we have to wear a wetsuit?
Yes. The water is from a glacier and is too cold and unsafe not to. A wetsuit is designed to save lives and keep you warm.

Do you have different size wet suits?
We sure do. Our wetsuits range from children's XS through adults 4XL.

Is the gear sanitary?
Absolutely! Cleanliness is a high priority at Raven, and our gear is washed after EVERY use.

Is there an age restriction for your tours?
No. There isn't an age limit on any of our tours. For hiking, the size and ability of the child is our standard. For rafting, the children must fit our gear (usually 30 lbs) for class I through class II+ and be OVER 90 lbs for class III +.

Do we have a guide with us?
For sure. All of our tours are hosted by our professional staff.

Can you accommodate large groups?
Yes. We are able to take large groups due to the diversity of our guides.

How do I book a tour?
Call in and set up a date with our office staff. Have a credit card handy to hold your spot.

Do I need to book in advance?
We offer first come first serve policies here at Raven Adventures, so the sooner you know the date the better. Usually a few days in advance is fine for small groups.
